Community Guidelines

Failure to adhere to our standards will result in revoked wiki access.

Communication Guidelines

These apply to Discussion pages as well as any other system intended for chatting.

  • Users must be of the age of 18 or greater, and demonstrate maturity of at least an 18 year old. With Chlorobyte's express approval, exceptions can be made for physical age within legal boundaries ONLY with good reason.
  • Regardless of sides, harassment will not be tolerated.
  • Any and all forms of bigotry or other forms of unnecessary discrimination will result in an instant ban.
    • Suspicious sounding comments should be questioned before a ban. A chance to talk about it and turn back should be presented, as viewpoints can be heavily twisted by outside factors.
    • Lighthearted jokes are allowed and welcome! Do not create problems where there were none to begin with.
  • Refrain from any form of flooding, spamming (including, but not limited to self-promotion, or otherwise intentionally derailing the topic), or any other types of annoying behavior.
  • Have fun, and make friends along the way!

Editing Guidelines

These are generally stricter than our communications, in order to uphold a standard across readability of pages on the wiki.

  • Our Communication Guidelines generally apply when it comes to acceptance. However, focusing on comprehension, page content should not contain unnecessary comments, such as jokes.
    • Internet drama and similar content should only be included if there is plot relevance. As an example, the B3313 drama should not be included, since it is merely a bunch of overgrown children screaming ableist comments and making up misinformation and it does not tie into the plots of either Chlorobyte or Copper.
  • Proper grammar accepted by at least one major form of English should be followed, with a bias towards US English words (e.g. color instead of colour).
  • Try to shorten and simplify (ELI5) content as much as possible. Simple definitions of terms not commonly known should be provided, along with a link to a better resource where applicable.
    • LGBTQ terms, such as transgender are 'not commonly known', due to the lack of education as well as bigotry pushed by even governments around the world.
  • Personal information should only be included under reasonable consent:
    • Explicit, where permission is specifically granted to us.
    • Implicit, where the person has intentionally made the information available to the public elsewhere. In this case only, requests to remove personal information will be laughed at and ignored.
